Man vs. Minecraft is a game-play series that I’ve concocted to simulate a “reality TV show” experience, similar to Man vs. Wild and Survivorman. I’m using Minecraft* as a “virtual stage” for telling a dramatic story as it unfolds through my game-play and unscripted dialogue. I’m also learning how to use Adobe Premiere Elements at the same time and adding in special FX and audio for a little extra flavor and excitement at key moments, like intense music during battle scenes.
I’m learning quite a bit from my experiences starting making Season 1 and
getting great feedback and many excellent suggestions from the viewers. I
plan to tune and enhance the show for future seasons as I improve my
craft as a video-maker as well as continue to learn what works and what
doesn’t in the dramatic game-play “film” genre. I hope you enjoy
watching the show as much as I enjoy making it!
